Booby Trap’s La De Verde Glow in the Dark Tee Review

It is a proven fact that among all other things that women love clothes and men love…ZOMBIES!  You are in luck because now you can satisfy both of those natural necessities with Bobby Trap.  Now if you are like me and you like for your little ones to wear stylish, well made, and all around awesome clothing then you can’t pass up any of Booby Trap’s assortment of clothing. I received a La De Verde Glow in the Dark Tee from Booby Trap. This shirt is the object of radness! Rylan loves zombies and thinks that they are really cool. I know what you are thinking, most kids are scared of zombies or anything like it but, if you give your kid the ability to rise up against them by putting them on a shirt then you are effectively equipping them to conquer their fear of the future approaching zombie hordes!

About

Brilliant star-tested and parent-approved designs from the pen of Marco Rached adorn this season’s GLOW IN THE DARK, onesies, jumpers, rompers and tees that will show that your little bat or sweet cupping cake doesn’t have to look the fool just because they’ll grow out of it. You’ll never lose your child in a crowded playroom when they are wearing the screaming ink of BOOBY TRAP! Whether or not your child will make friends while wearing the art of BOOBY TRAP is still being studied in our rooftop laboratories, but make no mistake, junior will never be mistaken for a hive-minded bambino with this art across their midriff!

Ryan’s Rating

Pros:  It seems very durable and has been put through many washes and has kept it’s first day luster.  I love the way it catches peoples eye and they stare at me like I’m corrupting my child!

Cons:  The shirt seems very snug.  It was in his size, it just may be more athletic fitting and not loose fitting.

9 out of 10

This shirt will definitely turn some heads.  Don’t forget this shirt freakin’ glows in the dark!

Yes! Max Headroom Finally Coming to DVD! Baby, netflix it

Max Headroom Finally Coming To DVD! – Max Headroom – io9.

A major injustice is about to be redressed. The ground-breaking cyberpunk TV series Max Headroom is finally coming out on DVD — and the extras may include the original British short film 20 Minutes Into The Future.

You may finally be able to throw away your VHS copies of Max, which probably have sentient entities growing on them at this point. Shout! Factory has scored the rights to do a complete box set, including all 14 episodes as well as unspecified extras. Home Media Magazine reports:

“Max Headroom” starred Matt Frewer as a reporter whose mind is downloaded into a computer to create a virtual clone who exists in the digital world. Amanda Pays, Jeffrey Tambor and W. Morgan Sheppard also star in the series, which ran for 14 episodes on Cinemax and ABC in 1987 and 1988. Set in the near future, “Max Headroom” depicted a world of television run amok.

Shout! Factory has a “Max Headroom” complete-series DVD set slated for August, according to a spokesperson. Episodes are being transferred from their original elements to provide the best quality, and Shout! Factory is planning a robust range of extras for the set. Bonus content may include the original U.K. telefilm 20 Minutes Into the Future, upon which the series is based, though nothing has been confirmed. Max Headroom also appeared in a series of Coca-Cola commercials in the 1980s, raising speculation such content may also be fodder for bonus material, but Shout! Factory said planning the extras is in the early stage.

About Huell

When Huell Howser moved to Los Angeles in 1981 from his home state of Tennessee to become a reporter for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, he had no idea he’d fall in love…with California. His enthusiasm for his new home inspired the idea for the television series that started it all, California’s Gold. Huell had a simple idea: if he traveled the state with an open heart and an open mind, a microphone and a camera, he would uncover a treasure of California stories.

“We operate on the premise that TV isn’t brain surgery. People’s stories are what it’s all about,” says Howser. “If you have a good story, it doesn’t have to be overproduced. I want our stories to reveal the wonders of the human spirit and the richness of life in California, including its history, people, culture and natural wonders.”

A native of Tennessee, Huell began his television career at WSM-TV in Nashville after receiving his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee, serving on the staff of a United States Senator and a stint in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Howser later joined WCBS-TV in New York City as host of a magazine-style series. He then came to Los Angeles in 1981 to work as a reporter for KCBS-TV. Huell joined public television station KCET/Los Angeles in 1987 to produce “Videolog,” a series of short programs featuring the stories of people from all walks of life. This series captured the imagination of viewers and led directly to an expanded format which covered people and places throughout the state.

And now after over 17 years in production, California’s Gold is one of the longest running and most beloved series about California ever produced. The success and popularity of the show helped to launch six additional series about life in California, Visiting with Huell Howser, Road Trip with Huell Howser, California’s Golden Parks, California’s Green, California’s Water and the newest series, Downtown. Huell Howser’s shows can be viewed six nights a week on KCET, and at various times on California PBS stations statewide and in Oregon, Nevada and Tennessee. Huell’s work in television has also taken him on travels worldwide, including Egypt, Israel, Haiti, Cuba, Nicaragua, Australia, Europe, and twice to the former Soviet Union.

“Intimate, magnificently unslick, utterly charming, absolutely irresistible…” says “Los Angeles Times” columnist Howard Rosenberg of Howser’s style.

Walter Goodman of “The New York Times” praises, “Howser’s infectious upbeat spirit…”

“Daily Variety” says Howser has “a gift for probing the emotional truths of people’s lives and gently coaxing them into the television screen.”

The “L.A. Weekly” recognized Howser as the “Best Good-News TV Newsperson” in Los Angeles.

And twelve-year-old viewer, Melody, says: “I love to watch your show. I can tell that you are a very friendly and warm person. I like to say that you could make someone’s toothpick collection look interesting!!”

Huell Howser is also a frequent speaker to civic and student groups and is active in numerous charitable, civic and social groups throughout the state. He lives in Los Angeles and Twenty-Nine Palms.

Huell hosts a number of different series for PBS television:

CALIFORNIA’S GOLD
We are extremely proud of all the California’s Gold shows we have produced over the past 17 years on our State’s rich history, cultural diversity, natural wonders, and amazing people.

Seen on all PBS affiliates in California, this is our signature series, and is endorsed by a number of organizations including: the California Teachers Association; the California Federation of Teachers; the California State Library Foundation; the California Library Association; the California School Boards Association; the California Council for the Social Studies; and the California Historical Society.

CALIFORNIA’S GREEN
We all know how important it is to preserve and protect our fragile natural environment here in California. With ever-greater and faster population growth and development staring us in the face, it’s more critical now than ever to try and live in harmony with our state’s environment by preserving clean air, conserving water and dealing with issues like recycling and open spaces.

For that reason, we launched our series titled California’s Green. This series highlights what innovative and creative Californians are doing to solve environmental challenges.

I’m really excited about California’s Green because it is a learning experience for us all and most importantly it provides us with practical ideas and knowledge that we can actually implement in our daily lives.

ROAD TRIP
Join Huell Howser as he sets off again on California’s highways and byways. The Automobile Club of Southern California sponsors Huell’s series, “ROAD TRIP with Huell Howser.”

The premise of the series is simple: See where the road leads as Huell and his cameraman set out on a California highway, with no particular destination in mind, on a voyage of discovery.

CALIFORNIA’S GOLDEN PARKS
In May of 2002, we proudly announced our monthly, half-hour, statewide series titled California’s Golden Parks. This series features a visit to a different State Park each month. With over 260 State Parks containing a diverse collection of natural beauty, history, and a recreational wonderland unmatched anywhere else in the country, we can’t get to them all, but we’ll have fun trying.

CALIFORNIA’S MISSIONS
They stretch from San Diego in the south to Sonoma in the north. Some are located right in the middle of bustling towns and cities, while others sit in rural isolation. Located along the route of the original El Camino Real, many have become well-known tourist destinations visited by hundreds of thousands of people from literally all over the world. Yet others, located on the same route, remain obscure and almost forgotten. They come in all shapes and sizes, represent different styles of architecture and are presently in varying stages of restoration. Some are State Historic Parks, while most others are still active churches.

We’re talking, of course, about the California Missions and even though they differ in many ways, these missions have become part of the history and lore of our state and endure today as true California treasures.

In this very special ten part miniseries, entitled simply “California Missions,” Huell Howser and cameraman Luis Fuerte set out on a quest to visit all 21 missions that run much of the length of present-day California.

The miniseries features three missions in each thirty-minute episode. We started in San Diego and literally drove up the coast. It was the most fascinating and enlightening trip of my life. I now have a better understanding of just what it is about these wonderful missions that continues to captivate so many people after all these years.

CALIFORNIA’S GOLDEN COAST
California’s Golden Coast which will take us up and down our state’s 1,100 miles of coastline. We will look not only at our coast’s breathtaking beauty, but also focus on some of the challenges facing it, and some of the people and organizations working hard to protect and preserve it as a place we can all enjoy.

VISITING… With Huell Howser
The “VISITING” series takes us to the many diverse neighborhoods of Southern California, and introduces us to the people who live there. “VISITING” has captured the spirit of the Southland with episodes ranging from a look at how menudo is made to the celebration surrounding the rededication of Angeles Flight.

LA Times critic Howard Rosenberg calls Huell’s style, “Intimate, magnificently unslick, utterly charming, and absolutely irresistible.” Viewers agree, and VISITING With HUELL HOWSER continues to be one of the most popular programs on KCET – PBS Los Angeles.

“VISITING” has been on the air for over 15 years, and is generously funded by a grant provided by the Ralph M. Parsons Foundation and produced by KCET.
